# Welcome to Subsystem The definition of subsystem is a self-contained system inside a larger system. [^1] In many ways this is philosophical — a core belief that, in order to add value to society, I myself must be effectively self-contained to produce results that are not dependent on others. This is not to neglect the importance of idea sharing and/or discourse or teamwork. Quite the contrary; this is a personal website of technical challenges, weird bugs, findings, and fun projects — mostly related to technology, networking, cybersecurity, and automation — that I feel are important to share.  I also include personal struggles, thoughts, and ideas or summarizations from books read or classes taken that could be useful to others.
